We struggled for years (8) with our daughter, teachers, tutors and special classes. After 10 weeks it's as if there never had been a disability. Beacon has exceeded our expectations.

Music and Studying: It is perfectly okay to listen to music while you are studying. Some students actually focus better with music in the background. (Notice “in the background” not blaring through the room.)

Be careful about your choice of music. Educational psychologists have found that music with a consistent rhythm of 60 beats per minute actually helps you learn. However, most contemporary music has a rhythm of 100 to 140 beats per minute and this number of beats per minute actually limits your ability to retain information.

Most subliminal learning tapes use Classical Baroque music because it has a consistent rhythm of 60 beats per minute.
Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
